Jan 28 Meeting Summary - 28 January 2011

Thanks to everyone for coming out in such bad weather and thanks specifically to Pat Bourgeois who kept the beer flowing and provided some great topics of discussion. We owe you some rounds for the next meeting.
 
I will try to summarize but we covered so much that I may miss a few things.
 
We talked not so much about PHP specifically but rather the environment for PHP development, the use of SQL for the various databases used in government and the concept of unified web services for government applications.  I think it is fair to say that Pat drove the discussions for the most part but we also had some great input from Leo D'Adderio.
 
Please note that although the Nepean Sailing Club is great for meetings, next month we will likely have our meeting downtown because it is difficult for people to get to the west if there is a lot of snow on the ground.
